Commercial Moving Company
Our moving company put garlic in the same truck which baked the smell into our things.Laws of shipping garlic?
We moved last week from CA to OK and the company we used to ship our stuff also shipped garlic in the same truck. The smell is in ALL of our furniture, clothes, electronics etc..
We are getting the run around with them and not sure where to proceed from here. We had our mattress steamed and it is worse than ever. The smell is so bad the neighbors can smell it. Does anyone know the laws for shipping produce? Can it be shipped without refrigeration? Can fresh food be shipped with non-commercial items? What are they liable for? Odd problem. Can anyone help?
hmmm, I honestly have no idea… never heard this before… is it a corporate company or a small local company? if it’s corporate you can try calling the district manager or even corporate offices…. other than that… there isn’t much that you can do… you can try to sue… but you can’t really prove much…
