Set a time limit in which to deal with it. You would begin to see a structure or pattern on which this habit is built. The next thing is just to set the steps to check the situation.
You might have to go over this for a whole month or so, for you to really determine the actual issues. So keep recording all your feelings, whether positive, negative or neutral.
