It is impossible to shun preservatives out of your food but you can always limit them. Try to step away from preservatives as often as possible but do not neglect them as your diet will also turn out bland.
Add more tomato in your diet. Tomatoes have antioxidant properties that counter the effects of cholesterol in the body. They have components that suppresses the growth of cancer as well so incorporate tomatoes in your daily diet.
Garlic should also be incorporated well on your diet. It adds flavor to your food and is a well-known blood thinner. It also has antibacterial properties which people tend to use when no antibiotic is at hand. It lowers the blood pressure.
Not everybody likes spinach especially if they are just boiled and served. But the thing about spinach is that it is very good for the body. It helps you keep your blood pressure stable. And if you have problems preparing spinach, you can always serve them as salad and add some garlic too.
Fish from the deep are rich in omega-3 fatty acids like tuna. In order to fully benefit the effect of omega-3, you need to eat it raw. You can also grill or broil them and add some spices that also help lower the blood cholesterol levels.
All of these foods can be found at your nearest grocery store so there is no need to search for special items just to help you keep your body healthy.
