True Stories – The Dwarf Who Grew So Rapidly
When we start a new business, our role as an entrepreneur goes constant transition. Many people do not consider themselves fit for the challenges that they face. They consider themselves as incompetent and incapable. We do have a lot of untapped potential. Consider this true story about a man called Adam Ranier.
Adam was born in an Australian village known as Graz in 1899. He was not growing fast enough. During his childhood, he was very short. In fast, when he turned 21, his body has only managed to grow 3 foot and ten inches in height. He was a dwarf for all intents and purposes.
Then something happened and he started to gain height at an astounding rate. Doctors are still unable to assign a cause to his astounding growth spurt.
It appeared as if that his pituitary gland has finally come to work after a real long vacation, and was now working over efficiently. At the time of his death, he was seven feet and eight inches tall.
His name is in the Guinness Book of World Record for being the only man to have lived as a dwarf and a giant in his life. This is amazing isn’t it?
The lives of entrepreneurs are really special. They are so challenging and filled with so many ups and downs. Entrepreneurs are constantly changing, becoming better and starting afresh.
Take inspiration from the above story. Life is not stagnant especially the life of an entrepreneur. It is constantly changing. You will find yourself on another adventure. One day you might achieve something. The other day, you might lose something.
The lesson to be learnt from the story is that is to never to underestimate yourself. Do not judge your tomorrow based on what you have today because your future might surprise you completely as it surprised Adam Ranier. Have some faith.
